Codetch Starter Guide

Download and Installation

• Download
• After downloading the Codetch extension, you will need to restart your browser before it will install
• Codetch can be launched from the "Tools" menu on Firefox, as either a new tab or a floating window.
• The rest of the installation is done when Codetch is first launched

Start Editing

• On first run, there will be a delay as installation completes

Create a New File

• To open a new file from a dialog, select the "File->New..." menu item
  • Select a default file from the available file types or choose a template to open
• To open a file of the default file type (You can set this in "Edit->Preferences..."), select the "File->New Default" menu item

Open an Existing File

• You can open a file from your computer by selecting "File->Open..."
• You open a web address for editing by selecting "File->Open Address..."
